Nissan reveals Aussie challengers

NISSAN Motorsport has revealed its 2016 challengers, with the unveiling of the NISMO Athlete Global Team’s #1 Nissan GT-R GT3 and Michael Caruso’s #23 Nissan Altima V8 Supercar.

Bathurst 12 Hour drivers Rick Kelly and Florian Strauss enjoyed a successful test at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Victoria today as part of vital preparations for next week’s race, with Nissan the defending champion.

Along with co-driver Katsumasa Chiyo, the trio will aim to emulate the success of the Nissan GT-R in 1991-92 and take Nissan to back-to-back wins at Mount Panorama. Caruso will run Nissan corporate colours again this season in the 2016 V8 Supercar Championship.
